He was born on March 14, 1933, in Madison, Davidson County, Tennessee, in the United States of America. Edwin Lee Nix would have been 90 years old of age, as of the date of writing this article.

She was born Valerie June Carter on June 23, 1929, in Maces Spring, Virginia, the U.S. Her parents were Ezra Carter and Maybelle Carter, who happened to be performers called the Carter Family.

June was also part of the music trio, which she joined in 1939, at the young age of 10. In March 1943, her mother, Maybelle Carter, her sisters, Helen, and Anita, and herself came together and formed the group Mother Maybelle and the Carter Sisters.

In late 1945, June’s uncles, Doc (Addington) and Carl (McConnell), also known as The Virginia Boys joined them. She went to John Marshall High School.

She also did some comedy on the side. Carl McConnell regarded her as “a natural-born clown if there ever was one”.

Mother Maybelle and the Carter Sisters soon moved to “Old Dominion Barn Dance” on the WRVA Richmond station. This was after The Virginia Boys had left the music business.

They soon met their lead guitarist, Chet Atkins with Homer and Jethro, after they relocated to WNOX in Knoxville, Tennessee. During the 1960s and ’70s, The Carter Family name was reclaimed once again which comprised June, her mother, and sister, along with Aunt Sara.

American film and theatre director, producer, screenwriter, and actor Elia Kazan encouraged her to study acting. She appeared in the 1997 American drama film titled The Apostle where she played the role of Mrs. “Momma” Dewey.

She also played the role of Sister Ruth in the American Western drama television series titled Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman. June also featured in the American radio and television Western drama series titled Gunsmoke where she played the role of Clarise.

He was an American country music singer-songwriter who was born John R. Cash on February 26, 1932, in Kingsland, Arkansas, U.S. Johnny Cash died on September 12, 2003, in Nashville, Tennessee, the U.S. at the age of 71.

Johnny Cash met June Carter Cash and dated for 13 years before he proposed to her in 1986. In the same year, on March 1, 1968, the two tied the knot in Franklin, Kentucky.

On March 3, 1970, they welcomed their son John Carter Cash.

Rosie Nix Adams was an American singer popularly known as the daughter of Edwin Lee Nix and his ex-wife June Carter Cash. She was married to Philip Adams.

She was born Rozanna Lea “Rosie” Nix-Adams on July 13, 1958, in Madison, Tennessee, U.S., and died at the age of 45 on October 24, 2003, in
