At first, Abby Huntsman started working at Good Morning America, doing a menial, behind-the-scenes job. She admitted to hating her position at work so badly that she wanted to leave television ‘forever’.
She soon became an intern for Diane Sawyer while she was still at the University of Pennsylvania. The mother of Isabel Grace Livingston was completely in awe of the TV broadcaster that she started regarding her as a mentor. “I always think of her as someone that I hope I can try to be like,” said Abby.
In 2012, she became a surrogate and media adviser while working on her father’s presidential campaign. At the time, her sisters and she were profiled by major media corporations such as GQ, The New Yorker, and BuzzFeed.
She was then featured in Good Morning America in New York City and ABC News in Washington, D.C. as a political commentator. Forbes 30 under 30 soon listed her as number 26 of up-and-coming members of the media in 2013.
