After which the love birds tied the knot and started working for Cramer and Company.

Their romance started at a bar in Manhattan in January 2006, when they met for the first time. Karen and Jim instantly clicked and it was as though they had known each other for decades.

She opened up to him about her previous marriage and how cardiomyopathy was the cause of her child’s death. Jim in turn told her about his two children from his previous marriage.

The former couple went on a subsequent warm date in Manhattan after which Jim called Karen a cab and on her way home he sent her a message which read, “Sometimes in life people who are special need to be told they are special.”

Two weeks later, they yet again went on another date. This time it was love, love, and love. Jim expressed his interest in them bonding together in marriage. Eventually, they both agreed and got engaged.

After 5 years of dating, the Cramer couple got married in 1988 and added two daughters, Cece and Emma Kramer, to their happy family.

The couple eventually ended their union 21 years later. In the wake of 2009, a divorce was filed and they both parted ways.
