She was married to American contract killer and organized crime figure Charles Harrelson. He was convicted of assassinating federal judge John H. Wood Jr., the first federal judge to be assassinated in the 20th century.

In addition to being a professional gambler, Diane’s husband was a Californian encyclopedia salesman.

After being found guilty of armed robbery in 1960, he came clean about his involvement in numerous murders that started in the early 1960s.

On July 4, 1995, he even attempted to break out of the Atlanta Federal Penitentiary using a makeshift rope together with two other prisoners.

Charles and Diane got married in 1959 but divorced in 1964. On March 15, 2007, Diane Lou Oswald’s ex-husband was discovered dead in his cell.

He had a heart attack and passed away at the age of 68. Their children are Woody Harrelson, Brett Harrelson, and Jordan Harrelson.
