The American rapper C-Loc mentored him and taught him the basics when he first met him. In 1996, he became a member of the rap crew Concentration Camp.

The group consisted of C-Loc, Young Bleed, and another six individuals. As soon as he joined, Boosie BadAzz was the group’s youngest member. The group’s fifth album, It is A Gamble, which was released on January 7, 2010, also included him.

He also appeared on Camp III: Thug Brothas, the group’s third studio album, which was released that same year. He immediately became the most important member of the group after Young Bleed left.

His debut studio album, Youngest of da Camp, was released in 2000. His big break came when he joined Pimp C’s Trill Entertainment in 2001.

On January 1st, 2002, he also released For My Thugz, his second studio album. That same year, he released Boosie, his debut mixtape. The albums Ghetto Stories (published in 2003) and Azz Mixtape Vol. 1 (issued in 2004) were the results of his quick collaboration with American rapper Webbie.

He collaborated on and produced two albums with South Coast Coalition in 2004: Both Sides of the Track and Bad Ass. The 2005 album United We Stand, Divided We Fall was quickly released thanks to a quick collaboration between Lyric Beyonce Hatch’s father and Lava House Records.

He also collaborated with Pat Lowrenzo on the Street Code CD. He also released the promotional single for Bad Azz, titled Bad Ass (Advance).

He also signed a contract with Warner Bros. Records in the same year. In 2006, Trill Entertainment released Bad Ass Mixtape Vol.1 as a follow-up to Bad Ass Advance.

He released the mixtapes Streetz Iz Mine and DJ Drama (Gangsta Grillz) in the same year. He and Webbie continued to collaborate in 2007 to produce Bad Azz Mixtapes Vol. 2.

Then, in 2008, he released the 4th Of July Bash and Da Beginning Mixtape. On September 15, 2009, Boosie BadAzz—real name Torrence Ivy Hatch Jr.—released his fourth studio album, titled Superbad: The Return of Boosie Bad Azz.

During his drug-related prison sentence, C-Loc released the album Unbreakable in 2010. Incarcerated, his upcoming album was recently released.

In 2010, he released the mixtape album Gone Til, which included brand-new songs. He collaborated with Quick to produce Hit After Hit 3 in 2011.

He signed a contract with Atlantic Records after being released from prison in 2014. He was featured on several songs, including Wuda Cuda Shuda by 2 Chainz, Beat Up the Block by Dorrough Music, and Face Down by DJ Mustard.

That same year, he released his mixtape Life After Deathrow. His sixth studio album, Touchdown 2 Cause Hell, which included 17 tracks, was released the next year.

The father of Lyric Beyonce Hatch has dabbled in acting, making roles in movies including Gangsta Musik, Glass Jaw, Last Dayz, and Ghetto Stories: The Movie.
